Costs
Equipment
Training in Tae Kwon Do involves sparring for competition,
self confidence and fitness. All students are required to have safety equipment
to protect themselves and others in class before being allowed to train in
sparring.
You may provide you own equipment or contact me for more
information.

Grading / Exams
Coloured belt gradings are carried out by an appointed
examiner from the GTI.
The examiner is normally 5th Dan Black Belt or above and the exams are held in
our school.
Black belt gradings are organised by the
GTI and held
nationally once twice a year. Contact me for more info
Grading incur additional fee varying around £25.
Training Rules
These traditional rules are based on the
Tenets of Tae Kwon Do and there to
make your training in Tae Kwon Do more effective and productive. Some rules are
for your own safety and other students.
- No smoking inside the Dojang
- No gum chewing
- No jewellery may be worn during classes
- No shoes to be worn in the Dojang at any time
- Students should never leave class for a break, water or an
early dismissal without permission
- Never lose your temper in the Dojang - especially during
sparring
- Never lean on walls or lay spread out on the floor unless
while exercising
- Students must keep finger and toe nails clipped short and
clean
- Keep your uniform clean at all times
- No horse-play, whistling or loud talking in the Dojang
- No talking during class except to ask a question.
- Before asking a question raise your right hand to attract
the Instructor's attention
- While in the Dojang, always address the Instructor as "Sir"
/ "Mr" or Ma'am using the Instructor's surname
- Students should behave in a disciplined manner while
training
- Bow to the flag or class before entering or leaving the
Dojang
- Respect all members of senior grade
- While fixing your Dobok or belt do not face your instructor
- Any student who is late for class must get the Instructor's
permission and bow to the Instructor before joining the class
Class Order
- Line up in grade order with the most senior grade in the
top right hand corner.
- If you aren't wearing your dobok or belt then line up at
the back of the class
