1 June The NLTKD will be moving to the O-Regen Epicentre, 41 West Street, Leytonstone, London, E11 4LJ on this day.

Our martial arts school, although only a year old has been very successful therefore we needed a larger hall for the students to train in. The new venue has a larger hall with shower equipped changing rooms. According to the kids who have visited the venue, their favourite is the vending machines

We would like to thank the Cann Hall Methodist Church for the use of there hall for the last year. Without them we would not have a martial arts school.

All 12 student that took part in the competitions from the martial arts school based in the Methodist Church on Cann Hall road, Leytonstone received a trophy and most were for 1st place in sparring.

Most of the NLTKD students are local residents and/or attend schools in the Cann Hall area. They competed in many sparring categories including junior girls, junior boys, adult men and women. A few categorised were dominated by students from the NLTKD.

The GTI English Championships 2006 was organised by the Global Tae Kwon Do International which represent many Tae Kwon Do schools through the UK and 1000’s of students around the country.

27 March Our parent association, the GTI  (Global Tae kwon-Do International) is now affiliated with the ITF (International Taekwon-do Federation).

Since the death of the founder of Tae kwon-Do, General Choi, the ITF has splintered into three factions. We have joined the ITF headed by the General’s son Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa 9th dan.

The three groups are currently arguing over who has the rights to the ITF name. Whatever the outcome joining Grandmaster Choi’s group now gives our top competitors the opportunity to compete at an international level which they had previously been unable to access.
